In Season


One of the things I can really appreciate about Tunisians is that they eat locally and in season – with the freshest fruit coming straight out of the garden (like the above photos). During the fall we enjoyed endless amounts of pomegranates: pomegranate seeds for desert and pomegranate jam for breakfast. Now it’s winter and we are eating oranges with every meal. I can’t wait to see what the future seasons have in store for me…
